EDEA Boot Sizing (Millimeters)

EDEA boots are sized in millimeters, taken directly from the length of your foot. That is unusual, and it is a genuine advantage: your EDEA size is a measurement rather than a conversion from a shoe sizing system that varies between brands. Measure accurately and the chart below gives you your size.

EDEA Sizing Chart

Find your foot length in the left column. Your EDEA boot size should match or sit very close to it. EDEA recommends no more than 10mm of growth room for children, and adults should aim for as close a fit as possible.

⚠️ The US and EU columns are approximations, and they describe EDEA only. Always use your millimeter measurement to select your EDEA size. Do not carry the US number in this chart across to another brand — it is an approximate translation of a foot length into EDEA's own fit, not a universal shoe size. Jackson, for example, is sized on its own US scale that runs about 1 to 1.5 sizes below your street shoe; see Jackson Boot Sizing.

If your measurement falls right between two sizes, round down. EDEA boots are designed to fit snugly and will conform to your foot shape after custom shaping.

Width Options

EDEA boots are available in four width options to accommodate different foot shapes:

Width Description Best For
B — Narrow Narrower across the forefoot Skaters who find standard-width boots too loose
C — Regular Standard width Most skaters — start here if unsure
D — Wide Extra room across the ball of the foot Skaters who feel pressure on the sides in C width
E — Extra Wide Maximum forefoot room Skaters with particularly wide feet

To determine your width, measure across the widest part of your foot (the ball) while standing. If you are between widths, custom shaping can often resolve minor width issues by expanding the boot slightly at pressure points.

💡 Tip: EDEA's letters and Jackson's letters are not the same system. An EDEA C is the standard width; Jackson's equivalent is called Regular (A/B) in the women's line and Medium in the men's. Read each brand's widths on its own terms.
