The Professional Lite achieves its significant weight reduction through updated construction techniques, including new "Tuff" mounting plates that are not only lighter but twice as strong as traditional plates. The blade itself is thinner than the standard Professional, which brings an additional performance benefit: quicker edge-to-edge transitions and improved glide characteristics. Despite these changes, the Lite retains the same fundamental blade geometry and profile that has made the Professional a coaching favorite for decades.
