The Matrix Runner MX8000 is the replacement stainless-steel runner for the Jackson Matrix RXS system, made for advanced freestyle and pairs skaters who train hard and sharpen often. When your edges wear down, swap in a fresh, pre-sharpened runner in seconds instead of remounting a whole blade — keeping your rocker and sweet spot consistent with no break-in between sharpenings.
Consistency When You Need It Most
Because the runner separates from the chassis, you can keep a spare set sharpened and ready to go. Change it before a competition or after a nick, and your feel underfoot stays identical from one session to the next. That removes the guesswork of adjusting to a new blade or a different rocker mid-season, so your jumps and spins land where you expect them to.
Geometry for Freestyle
The runner carries an 8-foot rocker and a 7/16" radius of hollow — a competition freestyle profile that rewards deep edges, controlled spins, and confident takeoffs. Its tapered edge sharpens quietly and grips cleanly, and runners match the Elite, Freestyle, and Supreme toe-pick patterns so you replace like for like.
Steel & Sharpening
Each runner is cut from Japanese AUS8 stainless steel, which is harder than traditional carbon steel for faster glide, better edge retention, and less frequent sharpening. The runners fit every standard sharpening machine with no special jig or smaller wheel, and sharpen all the way through without leaving a flat spot behind the toe pick.
