The Ultima Matrix Legacy is built for intermediate freestyle skaters who want a lighter, more responsive blade without giving up edge control. An extruded and milled aircraft-grade aluminum chassis makes it up to 33% lighter than a traditional blade, so your feet stay quick through footwork and transitions. Paired with a hardened stainless-steel runner, it holds a dependable edge on jumps and spins.
Who It's For
If you're landing your single and double jumps and starting to build real speed, the Matrix Legacy meets you there. Its intermediate pick pattern shares the same cross-cut layout as the traditional Ultima Legacy, so if you're moving up from that blade the feel carries over cleanly.
Geometry & Spin
An 8-foot rocker gives you smooth, easy transitions from edge to edge and a stable, controlled spin. The cross-cut toe picks bite predictably for consistent jump entries and takeoffs, while the 7/16" radius of hollow balances glide and grip for everyday freestyle training.
Steel & Build
The 420J stainless-steel runner is harder than the carbon steel in traditional blades, so it resists nicks, holds a sharper edge longer, and needs sharpening less often. There's no chrome plating to flake, peel, or rust. The channeled chassis is engineered so the blade won't twist or torque, and the runner is permanently locked in with three aircraft-aluminum axles for lasting security.
