The Ultima Matrix Freestyle is built for advanced skaters landing their higher jumps and working through freestyle and pairs elements. Weighing up to 33% less than a traditional blade, it takes weight off your feet so your legs stay fresher through long programs and every rotation feels lighter and quicker.
Built for Advanced Freestyle
With its advanced competition profile, this blade suits skaters who have moved beyond the basics and need a runner that keeps up with serious freestyle and pairs training. The straight-cut toe picks use the same pattern found across the Ultima line, so if you are stepping up from another Ultima blade the takeoff feel transfers seamlessly.
Geometry Made for Jumps and Spins
An 8-foot rocker gives you a stable, predictable ride for stroking and jump takeoffs, while the 7/16" radius of hollow delivers deep, secure edges for spins and turns. The standard heel keeps your positioning familiar and dependable as you build consistency.
Chassis and Steel
A lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum chassis is the source of the Matrix weight savings, and it runs parallel for accurate, repeatable sharpening. The Japanese AUS8 stainless steel runner is inset into the chassis and permanently secured with three axels. Stainless holds its edges longer and resists rust, so you sharpen less often and spend more time skating.
