With a stiffness rating of 45, the Motivo provides noticeably more support than the entry-level Wave while remaining forgiving enough for developing technique. It is the ideal boot for those moving beyond basic skating into introductory jumps, spins, and more deliberate edge work.

Designed for Progress

At stiffness 45, the Motivo bridges the gap between pure beginner boots and the thermoformable Overture. Its anatomically-shaped shell uses a specialized combination of resins and polymers that provide the rigidity needed for waltz jumps, toe loops, and basic spins, while still allowing the ankle flex that developing skaters need for balance and comfort.

Premium Materials

The Motivo's exterior is crafted from waterproof leather treated to European EN ISO 20345 standards, offering durability that stands up to regular ice contact. Inside, high-density memory foam padding provides excellent comfort and helps control micro-movements in the foot — giving progressing skaters more precise feel as they learn to transfer weight between edges. The abrasion-resistant inner lining uses a honeycomb weave with plush padding that stays breathable and water-resistant.

Control and Stability

EDEA's innovative honeycomb footbed reduces response times and provides cushioning for the small impacts that come with learning to jump. A thinner sole lowers the center of gravity, helping skaters feel more connected to the ice during single-foot maneuvers. The extended heel arch — inspired by Roman aqueduct engineering — distributes force across a larger area for better control during crossovers and landing attempts.

Reliable Hardware

Galvanized carbon steel hooks are positioned longer and lower than traditional boot hardware, creating a secure lacing zone that accommodates the ankle movements of developing skaters. Precise tension adjustments become increasingly important as skaters begin practicing more dynamic elements.
