The Chorus uses specially treated leather made to European waterproofing standards (EN ISO 20345), providing a classic look with modern performance. The soft collar extends your ankle range of motion, giving you the flexibility needed to develop correct jump technique without the rigidity of a more advanced boot. As you build strength and confidence, the 75 stiffness rating provides reliable support for consistent double jump landings.

Thermoformable Custom Fit

Like every EDEA boot from Overture up, the Chorus features tri-layer thermoformable construction lined with high-density memory foam. When professionally heat-molded by an authorized technician, the boot shapes precisely to your foot, eliminating pressure points and reducing break-in time to just 4 to 8 hours — a fraction of the time required by traditional all-leather boots. Available in four widths to accommodate different foot shapes.

Lightweight Performance

The Chorus's SH microfiber lining combines natural and synthetic fibers to deliver the strength of leather at one-third the weight. It's anti-allergic, anti-bacterial, and fast-drying — keeping your feet fresh and comfortable session after session. EDEA boots are 25% to 45% lighter than comparable figure skating boots, reducing fatigue and helping developing skaters train longer.

EDEA Footbed & Sole Technology

A molded nylon fiberglass honeycomb footbed at the ball of the foot provides vertical compression for jump landings while maximizing power transfer. The thinner sole design lowers your center of gravity for improved balance and edge sensitivity. Unlike traditional leather soles that absorb moisture, EDEA's waterproof construction resists humidity and temperature changes.

Every pair is made by hand at EDEA's factory in Crocetta del Montello, Italy — crafted by 144 skilled artisans who each contribute their specialized expertise. Forged steel hooks are sewn (not riveted) into the boot, reflecting decades of Italian shoemaking heritage.
