The EDEA Piano is the pinnacle of figure skating boot technology — the stiffest and most advanced boot in the EDEA lineup with a rating of 95. Engineered for elite skaters perfecting triple and quad jumps, it's the only boot in the range featuring EDEA's integrated Anti-Shock system, designed to absorb the massive impact forces of competitive landings.

Anti-Shock Technology

Landing jumps generates an estimated 2 to 8 times your body weight in impact force. The Piano's exclusive Anti-Shock system combines two advanced materials to protect you: Noene — an ultra-modern patented rubber that can disperse up to 96-98% of negative energy and vibrations — is integrated in two layers within the inner and outer sole, each just 1mm thick and perforated for airflow. A PORON heel insert stretches across the arch, providing open-cell polyurethane cushioning with slow-return memory for optimal absorption. The result is dramatically reduced strain, less ice chatter, and the ability to train longer.

Technomicro Construction

Like the Ice Fly, the Piano's shell is crafted from Technomicro composite microfiber reinforced with H.A.R. mesh — stronger, lighter, and more water-resistant than leather, and completely vegan-friendly. EDEA boots are 25% to 45% lighter than comparable figure skating boots, giving elite skaters a measurable advantage in airtime and free leg speed.

Thermoformable Custom Fit

The tri-layer thermoformable construction with high-density memory foam molds precisely to your foot when professionally heat-shaped, reducing break-in to just 4 to 8 hours. The Air-Tech mesh lining provides natural insulation with advanced moisture resistance, keeping your feet dry and comfortable through intense training. An ergonomic heel lock with memory foam holds your heel in place without pressure for quicker edge engagement.

Handcrafted in Italy

Every pair is made by hand at EDEA's factory in Crocetta del Montello, Italy — crafted by 144 skilled artisans who each contribute their specialized expertise. Forged steel hooks are sewn (not riveted) into the boot, reflecting decades of Italian shoemaking heritage.
